At Finom, you can connect Lexware Office in two different ways, depending on what you want to sync:
Lexware Office (Documents) – automatically syncs your invoices and receipts from Finom to Lexware Office.
Lexware Office (Transactions) – transfers your Finom transactions to Lexware Office and lets you initiate payments directly from Lexware Office.
Each integration has a different purpose and requires a slightly different setup process.
This article will guide you step by step through connecting and configuring both integrations.
Transactions
The Lexware Office (Transactions) integration is a PSD2-compliant connection that automatically syncs your settled Finom transactions with Lexware Office. It also enables you to create Finom payments directly from within Lexware Office.
This integration is configured from your Lexware Office account. To get started, navigate to Finanzen → Konten in the top navigation menu.
On the next screen, click Konto anbinden (Connect account).
In the pop-up window, select Neues Konto anbinden (Connect a new account).
Then type “Finom” into the search box and select Finom from the search results.
To confirm that you want to connect your account, click the green Bank anbinden button.
On the next screen, you will be asked to enter your Finom credentials
After entering your details, click Weiter zum Login bei Ihrer Bank. You will be redirected to Finom to complete the authentication process.
On the Finom login page, sign in to your account.
Once you've successfully logged in, you'll be automatically redirected back to Lexware Office. Here, you can select which Finom wallet(s) you would like to synchronise.
Next, configure the account details, including the account name, its purpose, and the date from which transactions should be synced.
That's it! Your Finom account is now connected to Lexware Office, and your transactions will start syncing automatically.
Documents
You can also use the Lexware Office (Belege) integration to automatically sync your invoices and receipts from Finom to Lexware Office.
To get started, open the Integrations page from the menu in the top-right corner of your Finom account.
In the list of available integrations, scroll down and select Lexware Office (Belege).
On the integration details page, click Connect to begin the setup process.
Next, choose the date from which you would like to start syncing documents. This date can be today or any date in the past.
You will then be redirected to Lexware Office, where you'll be asked to log in to your account. After you've successfully signed in, the window will close automatically and the integration will be connected.
That's it! Your documents will now be synced from Finom to Lexware Office automatically.
