If you're migrating your Finom account from Solaris to Finom Payments (Finom X), here’s everything you need to know about cashback handling during this transition.
What Happens to My Cashback During the Migration?
Cashback payouts are temporarily paused until the completion of the migration process.
Don’t worry — your existing cashback won’t be lost.
Once migration is successfully completed, your full cashback balance will be automatically transferred to your Finom Payments account.
Earning & Withdrawing Cashback
All cards, whether linked to Solaris or Finom Payments, continue to accumulate cashback with applicable subscription types.
To prevent duplicate payouts, cashback can only be withdrawn from your Finom Payments account. Cashback earned through your Solaris account will remain visible there for reference, but the combined total from both accounts is displayed in your Finom Payments interface — and can only be redeemed from within that account.
Cashback earned with Solaris cards will move with you- no action needed on your part.
Cashback Limits Stay the Same
Your cashback limit depends on your Finom subscription plan and applies across both IBANs.
Example:
If you're on the Start plan with a €10 monthly limit, and you’ve earned €7 via Solaris, you can earn €3 more through Finom Payments card transactions in the same month.
Who Can Withdraw Cashback?
Only the main account holder of the Finom Payments account can withdraw cashback.
Other team members or authorized users do not have access to this feature.
Not Migrating to Finom Payments?
If you choose not to migrate:
Let us know, and we will cancel your migration application.
You’ll then be able to withdraw any remaining cashback earned via Solaris cards before your account is closed.
Cashback Expiry Terms
To ensure you don’t lose any cashback, keep the following in mind:
Cashback must be transferred to your Main Wallet within 6 months of being earned.
Cashback may expire if:
It isn't transferred in time,
Your Finom account, subscription, or payment services are terminated.
As per Section 22 of the Finom Reward Rules, rewards can be annulled immediately if program terms are no longer met (e.g., early account closure).
We recommend transferring your cashback to your wallet every month to avoid expiry.
Important Notes on Cashback Eligibility
Cashback is a promotional reward
Finom reserves the right to withhold or revoke cashback if:
Your subscription is canceled,
You terminate services before the end of the promotional period.
