When you receive a promo code from Finom — as part of a special offer, partner program, or customer support gesture — you can use it to get a discount on your subscription.
Promo codes can be applied in different situations:
When creating a new account
When upgrading your current plan
When applying a discount to your existing subscription
Follow the instructions below based on your situation to ensure your promo code is applied correctly.
Apply a promo code to your current subscription
If you received a promo code for your existing subscription, you can apply it directly in your account settings.
From your main dashboard, click your company name in the top-right corner and choose “Plan and limits”.
Click “Apply promo code”.
Enter the promo code and click “Redeem my code”.
If the code is valid, you will see a confirmation message, and the discount will apply to your next subscription payment.
Tips
If you already have an active discount, you’ll be asked whether you want to replace it or keep it.
If you see an error, ensure your plan type and billing cadence meet the promo code conditions.
Apply a promo code during an upgrade
If your promo code is meant for plan upgrades, you can redeem it during the upgrade process.
From your main dashboard, go to “Plan and limits”.
Select “Change plan”, choose the plan you want, and click “Upgrade”.
Click “Redeem my code” and enter the promo code.
Once accepted, you’ll see a confirmation and the updated price.
Complete the upgrade — the discounted price will be charged immediately.
💡 If you leave the upgrade process before completing the payment, the promo will not be applied.
You can enter it again later as long as the code remains valid.
Apply a promo code while opening a new account
If you received a promo intended for new accounts, you can apply it during onboarding.
During plan selection, click “Apply promo code”.
Enter your code and select “Redeem my code”.
You’ll see a confirmation once the promo is applied.
💡 If a yellow banner appears, ensure the selected plan and billing period match the promo requirements.
4. Complete onboarding — the discount will apply once your business account is opened and your subscription becomes active.
5. If you start with a trial, the promo will activate automatically when the trial ends.
If you selected the wrong plan during onboarding, you can still apply the promo during your trial from “Plan and limits” or the “Upgrade” screen.
If your promo code isn’t working
Check the following:
Your plan and payment frequency match the promo offer
The promo code has not expired
The promo code still has remaining activations (some codes have limited usage)
💡 Good to know
Discounts apply for a fixed number of months; afterward, your plan returns to the standard price
Only one promo code can be active at a time
Changing your plan or billing frequency removes the current promo
