If your Finom account has a GB IBAN, you can manage international wallets (like USD, EUR, GBP) directly from your dashboard — including closing and restoring them when needed.
How to close an international wallet
To remove (close) a currency wallet, you need to follow several simple steps:
Log in to your Finom account and go to the Wallets section under your balance.
Select the wallet you want to remove.
Click on the Settings tab.
Click on the Remove currency button.
Confirm the removal in the pop-up window.
💡 The wallet is not permanently closed — it’s only hidden from your dashboard, so you can restore it at any time.
You cannot restore the EUR wallet with GB IBAN once you have fully closed it.
Requirements to remove a wallet
Before you can remove an international wallet:
The wallet balance must be 0.
There must be no transfers in progress.
To bring the balance to zero, you can use the Exchange button on the wallet page to exchange currency.
💡 The maximum amount you can exchange is €2,000,000.
How to restore a removed wallet
You can restore a removed wallet at any time:
Or, receive a payment in that currency — the wallet will reappear automatically.
All your past transactions and activity will become visible again once the wallet is restored.
💡 You can still generate bank statements for removed wallets, as long as they were used before.
