After you have successfully created your invoice, it is time to send it to your customer.
Below you can find some simple steps on how you can do this.
Firstly, click on the invoice you would like to send to your customer from the main dashboard.
You will then be redirected to the page showing you an overview of that invoice. Here, click on the button "Send document".
You will then be given the option to either share your invoice as a Proforma or send an electronic invoice (this option is currently only available for Italy).
Select the "Send e-invoice" button. The system will then ask you to fill in the information about the person responsible for the conservation of the invoices. Once complete press "Activate".
When e-invoicing is activated, you will see a screen with a notification advising that your invoice will be sent to the Italian government exchange system, and will no longer be editable. Insert customers email, and click the button "Send". You will then be notified when they view a copy of the invoice.
You have now sent your first e-invoice with Finom!
Normally it takes between 1 to 5 days for the exchange system to process the invoice, and deliver it to your customer.
