It's very easy to start creating your first invoice with Finom.
As a first step click on the button "Create Invoice" from the main dashboard. You will find it below the block with total balance.
You have just opened an invoice template. In the top left corner, you will find information about your company, that has been filled in automatically. You can modify it, by clicking on "Edit".
Right below, you will find an empty field dedicated to your client. Click on to "New Customer" and fill in the information about your client.
If you start typing the client's business name or his VAT number in the dedicated field, Finom will present a list of companies for you to choose from, and will automatically fill in the information for you. Once complete, then press the "save" button to proceed.
In the top right corner, you will find a rectangle dedicated to a logo. Click on it to upload a logo of your company. Please note, that the size of the file should not exceed 2 MB.
Right below the logo you will see a field with the number of the invoice. Continue with the invoice already populated, or edit to select the one you need.
Then modify the issue and due dates to what you require, and choose the correct payment method from the drop-down menu.
Finally, add any products or services rendered to the invoice. You can do it by simply typing the description in the field "Items". Indicate the quantity, choose the correct measurement units, and add the price for a single unit. Then specify the VAT % for each item. If you are unsure, please consult with your accountant.
By clicking on three dots on the right from the net amount you can add a discount.
You will then be given the opportunity to add additional items to the invoice if needed, by selecting the option "Add item".
The total amount will be automatically calculated by Finom.
Once you have finished creating your invoice, press the button "Continue" in the top right corner.
Congratulations! Now your invoice is saved and ready to be sent to your client or accountant.
