I have access to my current number
If you have access to the phone number that you would like to change, you can edit it in your profile settings. First click on the name of your company in the top right corner and then choose settings from the drop down list.
On the new page click on “Change phone”.
To change your phone number, we will send a verification email to your current address. Please open the email and follow the instructions to start the phone number changing process.
Please note that requesting a phone number change requires deleting your old number and unlinking it from your profile.
We will send a message with an OTP code to your current phone number. Therefore, it is important that you have access to your old phone number to complete this process.
Enter this code in the field shown below.
On the next page, you can add the new phone number.
Confirm your new phone number by entering the OTP code that will be sent to it via SMS.
Well done! You have successfully updated your phone number.
I don’t have access to my current number
In case you no longer have access to your old phone number, you will need to contact the Customer Care team directly using our in app chat or via email at [email protected].
For security reasons, we will first need to check and confirm your identity.
You will be asked to send us a copy of the contract you have with your phone provider, or an alternative document that proves you are the actual owner of the new phone number you want to update to your account.
We will forward these details to our bank partner who will verify the document and, if no issues, the change will be completed within 3-5 business days.
As soon as the change is confirmed, we will notify you via email and you will be able to start using your Finom account again with the new phone number.
