For corporations, it applies that they only become capable of acting when the share capital has been paid into the business account, the notary confirms this and registers the company with the Commercial Register.

So at what point should you open an account, and what do you need for this?

You only need a Certificate of Incorporation to open a bank account with Finom. This means that after your first notary appointment - you can already open an account. After that, you can deposit the capital and calmly complete the registration of the company. Don’t worry, you will have three months to do this.

But please remember to provide us with the commercial register excerpt within 90 days after opening the account. You will be able to do this in the company profile by clicking on the yellow banner at the top of the page or by contacting us using the in app chat. Once we have received the required document, we will remove the i.G. prefix from your company name and update the data in the system. Yes, it's that easy!
