1. Why are you making this change?

Devices and software change frequently, so we regularly analyze the operating system market and choose which ones we should support.

In the sixth version of the android, a vulnerability was found that allows an attacker to replace the application installed on the user's device by the backup application and gain access to his authorization data.

Therefore, in order to protect our Android users, we have decided to end support for Android Marshmallow (6.0, 6.0.1).

2. When are you discontinuing it?

We are ending support for our Finom app on Android (6.0, 6.0.1) devices from June 1, 2022.

3. What do I need to do?

You should upgrade Android OS to 7.0 or the highest versions if possible or purchase a new phone with > 7.0 OS installed.

4. What if my device doesn't support early versions?

You will be able to use the current version for 1 month, but you will not be able to install updates, which means that new features will not be supported on your device. The Finom app won’t be available to download from the store.

You can also use your Finom account through a mobile browser or use our web version.
