Can I receive transfers from Russia?

The Russian military aggression against Ukraine has led to the imposition of restrictive measures (sanctions) by the European Union. As a financial institution regulated by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), Finom’s partner Solarisbank AG is obliged to comply with these sanctions. Solarisbank have decided to go beyond the measures and block all transactions with Russian and Belarusian banks as well as card transactions with Russian merchants. For the latest information on existing sanctions, please see the European Commission's Restrictive Measures Guidelines here.
