What types of direct debit are supported?
There are two types of SEPA Direct debits — Core Direct Debits and B2B Direct Debits.
There are two major differences between these types that are relevant for businesses: acceptance of direct debit and refund period.
Core Direct Debits are commonly used for recurring payments such as rent, utilities, software subscriptions, etc. You should not do anything to accept these payments. Just provide your bank details to your counterparty.
B2B Direct Debits are used between companies and with tax authorities. Common use cases include paying taxes or paying for large purchases. To allow money to be debited from your account using the B2B scheme, just a few clicks are enough
