This article will lead you through the process of reissuing your physical or virtual Finom card when it has expired.
💡 You will receive an email from Finom on the first day of the month the card is due to expire. The card will be active until the last day of the expiration month.
You can start the process from the email you received, or directly from your account.
Access the card section of your account. You will see the card that is about to expire, and it will have the “Reissue” button.
Choose the card and you will be redirected to the card settings page.
You will see a banner warning you that the card is about to expire.
To reissue the card, click on “Reissue card”
You will see a pop-up window explaining the card reissue process.
💡Please note:
You can use your current card until its expiration date..
Your card limit settings will remain the same. You can change them after receiving your new card.
The card data (number, expiry date and CVV code) will be updated. Don't forget to update them in your payment services.
As soon as you activate the new card, the old card will be blocked.
Click on the “Continue” button
You will be asked to choose the wallet to which you wish to link the card
Next, if you are ordering a physical card, choose the delivery address and set up a pin code
Once it has been done (or if you order a virtual card), you will be asked to confirm the action in your Finom mobile app, or by entering an SMS code received SMS on your phone number
The new card has been ordered!
In the case of physical cards, you should activate the card once you have received it.

When your new physical card has been activated, your old card will be automatically blocked. Your expired card’s transaction history will be saved.
If you reissue your virtual card, a new one will be available as soon as you order it, and the old card will be blocked immediately.
If you are a team member and your card is expiring, please note that we are notifying the manager or account owner by email with a request to reissue cards for the team members.
The process of reissuing a card for a team member is the same as described above
