To start using Finom, one of the first things you have to do is top up your main wallet.
In this article, we will explain how to top up your wallet by SEPA transfer.
You can check how to top up your wallet using a card or via Apple/Google Pay here.
To begin, click the + button at the top of the side menu on the left and then choose Top up wallet. You can also click Add money — the first button in the row under the welcome message on your Home screen
You will be redirected to a second page where all the details of the wallet are listed.
You can choose the wallet and whether you need details for a SEPA or a SWIFT transfer.
The details listed are:
IBAN
BIC
Recipient
Address
Bank
To speed up the process and to avoid any potential errors, use the copy icon next to each line, or click Copy details or Download PDF under the list.
Connect to your other bank account from which you will be making the transfer. Then use these details (copy and paste) to make a SEPA transfer from your current account to your Finom business account, the same as you would normally make any SEPA transfer between accounts.
Alternatively, you can scan the QR code using your alternative bank app to initiate the payment.
Remember: a standard SEPA payment can take up to 3 business days to be processed. Instant SEPA takes only a few moments to complete.
Once the money has been successfully transferred, you can start using your account.
