How to initiate a SEPA payment from your Finom account?

To initiate a SEPA payment from your account, you only need to follow a few simple steps:

1. From your main dashboard, click on the button "GO", and choose "Euro payment"

Please note: you can only issue SEPA transfers in EUR in Finom.

2. You will then be presented with a form to complete.

First, select the wallet from which the transfer will be made. Then enter the amount you would like to transfer, the recipient's name followed by the IBAN of that recipient. You can then enter the reason or reference for the transfer.

Once complete, select the "Continue" button.

3. Now you have the opportunity to review all the details you entered, and ensure they are correct.

From here, you can also upload a supporting document for your transfer. You have 2 options:

  • Upload new file - to attach file from your device

  • Select from documents - to select one of the invoices created in Finom or files uploaded previously.

Once you have ensured that all the data is correct, and uploaded any supporting documents or invoices necessary, you then click on the button "Pay now".

4. You will be offered a choice between making a SEPA instant transfer and regular transfer.

5. You will then be asked to confirm this payment via your Finom mobile application.

If you don't have access to the mobile application, you can click on "I have problems with the confirmation" and then choose one of the two options. This will send a text message with a code to the phone number related to your Finom account.

6. The SEPA transfer should now be completed!

Now you have the opportunity to notify your recipient by e-mailing them, or you can download your transaction's statement as a PDF.
