This article will guide you through the process of creating an international transfer from your Finom business account.
You can initiate a transfer in several steps:
1. From your main dashboard, click on the "+" button
2. Choose “International payment”
Alternatively, you can initiate a transfer from:
The Main wallet page by clicking on “Transfer”
The currency wallet by clicking on “Payment
If you don't have enough money in your currency wallet, you will need to buy the currency. You can buy foreign currency by opening the currency wallet and clicking on “Exchange”.

3. You will then be presented with a form to complete.
You will need to enter the name of the recipient, choose the currency, enter the IBAN (or account number), and the BIC/SWIFT code.
Click on “Continue”.
If you choose GBP or USD as currency, you will also be presented with a choice, whether you want to send the transfer via SWIFT system, or send a local payment
4. On the next step, we will ask you to provide some more information about the recipient of the transfer: the country and the address
5. Next, you will need to choose the wallet from which you want to make the transfer.
You have 2 options available:
Main wallet: We will convert the payment from euros to the chosen currency (unless euros are chosen). On the screen, you can see the details of the current exchange rate.
💡 The final transfer amount may be slightly different due to the exchange rate.
Currency wallet: choose the currency wallet, if you have one
Then you will have the option to choose the intermediary bank fees: either SHA or OUR.

Once you have completed the form, click on “Continue”.
6. Now you have the opportunity to review all the details you entered, and ensure they are correct.
Once you have ensured that all the data is correct, and uploaded any supporting documents or invoices, you can then click on the button “Pay now”.
7. You will then be asked to confirm this payment in your mobile application.
If you don’t have access to the mobile application, by clicking on the text below where you can choose an alternative way to confirm it (for example, via SMS to your mobile number).
8. Your transfer should now be complete!
Now you have the opportunity to notify your recipient by emailing them, or you can download your transaction's statement as a PDF.
