How to create international payment with my Finom Business account

This article is for our clients using international transfers with GB IBAN

This article will guide you through the process of creating your first international transfer.

It is important to mention that you can only initiate international transfers from your international wallets. By default, you have 2 wallets available: one in euros and a second one in American dollars.

If you want to have additional wallet in another currency, you have 2 options:

  • Click on “Create new wallet” button and choose the currency

  • Click on “Add currency” button and choose the currency

In order to initiate a transfer from an International wallet, you need to top up this wallet.

In order to do it, you need to transfer funds between your wallets.

Once you have the funds in your international wallet, you can initiate a transfer in several simple steps.

1. From your main dashboard, click on the button “New transfer”, this is displayed below your total balance.

2. Choose “International Payment”

3. You will then be presented with a form to complete.

First, select the wallet from which the transfer will be made. Then enter the amount you would like to transfer, and choose the country of recipient. Click on “Continue”.

Then fill in the form with the recipient's name, followed by the IBAN of that recipient and the address. You can then enter the reason or reference for the transfer.

Once complete, select the “Continue” button.

4. Now you have the opportunity to review all the details you entered, and ensure they are correct.

Once you have ensured that all the data is correct, and uploaded any supporting documents or invoices, you can then click on the button “Pay now”.

5. You will then be asked to confirm this payment in your mobile application.

If you don’t have access to the mobile application, by clicking on the text below where you can choose an alternative way to confirm it (for example, via SMS to your mobile number).

6. Your transfer should now be complete!

Now you have the opportunity to notify your recipient by emailing them, or you can download your transaction's statement as a PDF.
